  2. Reasonable Adjustments • Legal obligation under the Equality Act (2010) • CIPOLD found little evidence of reasonable adjustments • This was a factor that made people more vulnerable to premature death

  4. Good practice • Good practice examples were led by individuals – not systemically embedded • Identifying a person’s needs in hospital • Additional advice, support and easy read information

  5. Recommendations • Reasonable adjustments that individuals need should be clearly identified. • Reasonable adjustments that have been identified should be recorded and audited annually.
