  2. What is Saint Patrick's Day? Saint Patrick′s Day, is a cultural and religiouscelebration held on March17, the day SaintPatrick passed away. Saint Patrick is the foremost patron saint of Ireland.

  3. Who is Saint Patrick? It is said that Patrick was born in Great Britain, grew up in a wealthy family. At the age of sixteen, he was kidnapped by Irish raiders and become as a slave. He spent six years working as a shepherd. During this period, he found God.

  4. Who is Saint Patrick? Due to his sincerity, God helped him to run out this island. On his way home, he became a priest. To repay God's guide, he believed that he should go back to Ireland and persuade Celt to become Christian.

  5. Who is Saint Patrick? Patrick established churches and schools to teach people. Therefore, Irish in order to commemorate their patron saint, they used the death date of Patrick to became a vital festival ─ St. Patrick's Day.

  6. Celebration and traditions On St Patrick's Day it is a custom to wear shamrocks and green clothing or accessories. In Ireland's tradition, if you wear green garments or green caps, you will attract Leprechaun who is a fairy to make shoes come out.
