  2. What animals can be trapped? • With this size trap you may be able to trap the following animals: • Mouse • Chipmunk • Baby Rat

  3. Safety Precautions • Make sure there are no children or small pets around to tamper with the trap • Make sure the user is not wearing loose or baggy clothing • Be sure you are in the location where you want to set the trap • Be mindful of how you hold the trap while setting it • WATCH YOUR FINGERS!

  4. What to Use as Bait? • Cheese • Peanut Butter • Chocolate

  5. How to Bait the Trap • Be sure to bait the trap before you set it • Place your bait on the yellow square platform • There are three baiting options: • Spread a teaspoon of peanut butter • Place a penny sized amount of chocolate or cheese

  6. Where & When to Set the Trap • Set the trap when there is the least amount of traffic in the building • Set it where you believe the rodents frequent

How to Set the Trap • Pull off the safety staple holding down the straight copper bar • Pull the straight copper bar back so it hangs off the back side, opposite of the yellow platform • Pull the square copper bar back all the way so it is flat against the board, and hold firmly to the board Video Demonstration

How to Set the Trap Cont. • Pull the straight copper bar forward so that it lays flat overtop of the square copper bar • To engage the trap pull the platform towards the back of the trap and hook the the straight copper bar under the platform lip closest to the back • Slightly release the pressure on the square copper bar to set the trap Place the Trap Down GENTLY!

  9. How to Dispose of • Periodically check the trap to see if rodent has been captured • When the rodent has been captured put on gloves and dispose of rodent in an outdoor trash receptacle
