  2. All about you- meet and greet Paper Airplane Game Write your name, your favorite: food, leisure activity, workout style, and de-stressor on a piece of paper. Now fold it into a paper airplane, and get ready to launch it from the one side of the room. On the “Go” signal, launch you plane. Walk to your plane, and launch it again on the “Go” signal until your plane lands on the far side of the room. Listen to the facilitator for guidance. H.B. 1018 gives the SHAC a nod The local School Health Advisory Council shall: establish a Physical Activity and Fitness Planning subcommittee to consider issues relating to student physical activity and fitness; make policy recommendations to increase physical activity and improve fitness among students. SHAC yearly reports to the Board will include any recommendations made by the PA&FP, plus any joint use agreement between community agencies and the District.

  11. Brain Breaks for all! “A great way to engage students and audiences of all ages is through the use of Brain Breaks. They are easy to implement, challenge the brain, and re-energize people.   19. Knock it out with SMART Goals Specific Measureable Achievable Relevant Time-based

  20. How can I check my objectives? A good way to test your objectives is to use the SMART technique. SMART statements have the following Characteristics. Specific: it indicates clear action on a determinant, population group and setting. Measurable: it includes features that will help you tell whether it has succeeded. Attainable: it can be realistically achieved on time and within available resources. Relevant: it is a logical way to achieve your goals. Time-framed: it indicates a timeframe for action.

Brain Breaks for all! • One student will be facing the class with back to the board. • Teacher/Student will think of a number and write/project it on the board. • The student will guess the number. If their guess is to high the class will do 5 roof raises. If the guess is too low, the class will do 5 marches. • There is no talking aloud during this activity other than the student guessing.
