Common Distribution Charging Methodology (CDCM) CDCM prescribes ‘portfolio’ billing of IDNOs DNO / IDNO working group now meeting under an independent chair (Nigel Cornwall) DNO / IDNO working group is developing an interim solution Efforts are ongoing to secure the aggregate data necessary for portfolio billing For the longer-term: Preferred solution involves a central data agent, procured via DCUSA Elexon is the likely source of required data Enabling DCUSA change DCP059 and urgent BSC change proposal P246 currently going through due process 15 January 2010 energynetworks.org 2
