  2. What is a Concussion? • Occurs when there is a sudden blow to the head • Brain moves in the skull • Symptoms: • Memory loss • Vision problems • Headaches • Emotional problems

  3. Stats of Concussions • 100,000 concussions in all levels of football • In the NFL: • 127 in 2009 • 154 in 2010 • After rule changes: • 130 in 2011 • Down 12.5%
