  11. WORLDWIDE PRESENCE

  12. BENEFITS AND APPLICATION OF ERS: Interruption of power can cause high fines and costs to a transmission company. Therefore SBB ERS towers can be used to quickly, safely and efficiently: • Restore power interrupted by natural disasters, sabotage or vandalism. • Perform maintenance on a power line and minimizing the outage time. • Perform new construction of power lines, cross roads, or new substations. • Perform renovations on old lines. • Perform hotline maintenance. The list is endless… ERS APPLICATION

  13. Line deviation for new building construction using SBB ERS Tower can significantly reduce the construction time. Companies can focus on building without the stress of power outage for long periods. CONSTRUCTION OF NEW IKEANORWAY – LYSE ENERGY

  14. Quick reaction to a storm or a flood is very important. After a field and software training, our clients are capable to face virtually any situation that come their way. SNOW STORMSLOVENIA – ELEKTRO LJUBLJANA

  15. Several Teams can work simultaneously and safely on several lines in parallel. Our clients can quickly restore power during an emergency and then focus on the cleanup. FLOODBRAZIL – CEEE

  16. A contractor bidding on a maintenance project can save both money and time. Projects will take less time to accomplish using the SBB ERS towers, since the scheduling will be optimized. CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SUBSTATIONNORTHERN IRELAND – NIE

  17. Highway crossing does not allow for long periods of shutdown and the available space to work is very limited. SBB ERS towers have a small foot print and require no heavy equipment to put up. It’s quick assembly allows for smaller windows of power shutdown. LINE DEVIATION FOR HIGHWAY CROSSINGMALAYSIA – TTSB

  18. Building a new highway can demand the deviation of an existing line. The SBB ERS Towers, are an effective way to do so and can keep power circulating until the final arrangement of the new line is done. CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HIGHWAYABU-DHABI – KEC

  19. When power outage is not an option, SBB ERS towers are the only option. Hotline, or live line, maintenance can be performed using “hot sticks” to transfer the conductors from the old tower to the SBB ERS Tower. HOTLINE (LIVE LINE) MAINTENANCEPARAGUAY – ANDE

  20. Support is key in any emergency. Our team of engineers offers it when the client needs it the most. SBB Offers free technical support for all your emergency needs. MUD SLIDE & TOWER COLAPSENORTHERN IRELAND – NIE

  21. ERS TOWER COMPONENTS All SBB ERS tower components and tools are designed with efficiency and safety on our mind. SBB Towers do not require concrete bases. It is as easy as placing a plate on the ground and start building. “Efficiency and Safety”

  22. Aluminum base plate requires no foundation. Larger foundations are available for soft soils that do not have the required bearing capacity. BPL-0016: Aluminum Base Plate

  23. The Articulated Base has 360° rotation on the horizontal plan and 180° on the vertical plan. Allows the tower to be installed on uneven ground. ABS-0830: Articulated Base

  24. 2.904m – 135kg Mast sections are piled one on top of the other like Lego® blocks. Each hole on the mast section is positioned at 31cm apart. Each one acts as an attachment point for the different brackets. Each corner acts as a railing system that will allow some of the equipment to slide on the tower without interruption. 1.977m – 96kg MSC-4129: 3m (10’) Mast SectionMSC-4126: 2m (6’) Mast Section

  25. The swivel guy plate consists of 4 components and can be installed at any hole. It takes seconds to install on the tower. The guy plate is used to fix the guy wires (stays) or to connect the suspension/strain insulators to the tower. GPL-0270: Swivel Guy Plate

  26. Post insulators are attached at any level using the functionality of the holes. Brackets are designed to fix them to the tower. LPB-S56U: Post Insulator Bracket

  27. ANCHOR TYPES

  28. ASSEMBLY METHODS From the hammer to the sliding gin pole, the required tools are supplied to fully assemble the tower without the need to run around for a missing wrench. “Wrench, ratchet and Hammer”

  29. ASSEMBLY METHODS – SLIDING GIN POLE

  30. ASSEMBLY METHODS – BALL JOINT GIN POLE

  31. ASSEMBLY METHODS – BOOM TRUCK

  32. ASSEMBLY METHODS – HELICOPTER

  33. OTHER TOOLS FOR ASSEMBLY

  34. LOGISTICS Our Towers are shipped in maritime containers that act as a way of mobilizing as well as storing the material. Three options exist: Container storage system Railing for lifting heavy items Wood crates

  35. TRAINING SBB specialists offer their help and expertise in order to offer the best results in using the SBB ERS Towers. The typical training program consists of: 5 days field training 3 days software training
