  2. Important Tidbits • Student drop off begins at 7:10 a.m. • Breakfast cut off is 7:35 a.m. • School begins at 7:45 a.m. • Students cannot be checked out after 1:45 p.m.

  3. Visitor Policy • Visitors MUST sign into the computer in the front office. • All visitors must have a valid reason to be on campus. • Visitors must have a scheduled meeting with a teacher to visit the classroom. • Visitors MUST wear the visitor badge while in the building.

  4. RES Uniform Requirements • ALL students are required to wear uniforms EACH school day. • Polo-styled shirts (Red, Black, White or Navy Blue) • Pants/Skirts/Skorts/Shorts (Black, Navy Blue, Khaki) • JEANS ARE NOT PERMITTED!

  6. Professional Development Days **school will end at 1:15p.m. on these dates September 10, 2014 October 8, 2014 November 12, 2014 February 11, 2015 March 11, 2015

  7. Volunteering Level I • Building level with no contact with students. NO FEE Level II • Interaction with students • Supervised by school personnel NO FEE (field trips, field days, book fairs, classroom visitations longer than 20 min., etc.) Level III • Interaction with students with limited to no supervision FEE – see Mrs. Vazquez

  8. Volunteering cont’d Clearance will include: Level I & II volunteers – Application, GBI background check, video with Mrs. Vazquez Level III volunteers – Application, FBI background check, FEE, video with Mrs. Vazquez.

  9. Transportation • Please fill out ALL transportation information so that teachers are aware of how your student is to get home. • All students within RES school zone are eligible for bus services. • Please be sure that daycare centers are aware that your student should be picked up no later than 2:40 p.m.

  10. Parent Resource Center • Computer available for parents to use to find jobs, create flyers, create/update resumès. • Math manipulatives • Lending Library • CD’s for student learning • Reading/Language Arts assistance • See Mrs. Vazquez • Room 144 • Daily from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
