  3. College Education • Graduated from Columbia College of Columbia University • Earned his Master of Fine Arts degree

  4. Film Career • Stein has done work on many documentaries. • The Lunch Date, The Last Party, When Your Head’s not a Head, It’s a Nut • Has written one play: Brother Jones

  5. Writing Career • Stein has written many successful novels. • He published Raven Stole the Moon in 1998 • How Evan Broke his Head and Other Secrets was published in 2005

  6. The Art of Racing in the Rain • Based on his own life experiences • Raced in championship races up until a tragic crash on the track • Published in 2008 • It takes a unique twist on life as it is seen through a dog’s eyes.
