DO/BELL WORK: Write 4 sentences that you create on your own and label the S’s and V’s. 1. 2. 3. 4. READ/UNDERSTAND: Simple Sentences • A simple sentence has a subject and a verb. It is a complete thought. Simple Sentences: SV, SSV, SVV, and SSVV • SV: The girl runs. • SSV: The girl and the boy run. • SVV: The girl runs and jumps. • SSVV: The girl and the boy run and jump.
