Tim Stewart • Faculty Experience • 14 years as a faculty member with BPP • Academic head of our various accountancy programmes • Dean of Learning and Teaching across the University College • Management Experience • 5 years working as a finance practitioner with Unilever • Managed BPP campuses in Poland, Serbia, Luton and Milton Keynes

BPP Education Group • Formed in London in 1976 to provide flexible training for the finance sector. • 6 year rigorous process to gain taught DAP (2001-2007) where we were scrutinised by the QAA and academic staff from 38 UK Universities. In 2010 we gained University College status. • The power and authority within BPP is split between: • An Academic Council • A College Board • 99% of our students are funded privately or by their employers. The vast majority of our students are UK students. • BPP floated as a public company in 1986 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Apollo inc in 2009.

What the QAA said about BPP: • BPP has “placed itself at the quality end of the educational market” • “The assessors consider that the learning support resources with which students are provided exceeds the benchmark expectations and could with benefit be emulated by some publicly funded institutions” • “The College’s academic leadership has both strength and depth” • “An assessment of the curricula vitarum of academic staff undertaken for the present scrutiny confirms the appropriateness of the qualifications of teaching staff, with the majority having postgraduate qualifications…good publication records, higher education teaching experience, current external examining positions with higher education institutions and membership of professional body committees. “
