  1. What’s happening in Room 201? Practice PracticePractice The students are required to sort the words by the pattern/rule they follow. They will need to spell the words correctly and put them in the correct sort. October 15-19 Please make sure your child’s guided reading book comes home ever night and returns to school each day. Please do not forget to order your yearbooks. You can order by mail, or online. We are collecting can goods for the CCA food drive so, while your at the grocery store please pick up an extra canned good item to donate.  Crazy Hat day is Octboer 19th and the proceeds go towards purchasing iPads for the classroom. This week we will be working on short iwords, details (main idea, supporting detail)and sentence parts. October 16: PTA general meeting at 2 pm October 17: Picture Day; Carnival at FMHS 5-7 October 19: Crazy Hat Day- $1 October 25: Science Night; Fire and Ice Show We are investigating matter, exploring ways to classify and sort, and how an objects properties can change. This weeks Math focus: -2D shapes -composing and decomposing shapes.
