  28. 28 Digital Labon MECO 2012 From June 19-21, 2012 Digital Lab participated in the Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing (MECO 2012), Montenegro,Bar and had 2 guest educational scientific training-seminars: - SoC Design Methods and Tools; - DSP Design in an Educational and Research Process. Besides that, PhD students I.Korotkyi, O.Romanov, A.Varfolomieiev and Prof. O.Lysenko presented 3 papers: - A. Varfolomieiev, V. Dzyuba, O. Lysenko. Implementation of a Real-Time Object Detection System on a TI TMS320DM6437 DSP; - I. Korotkyi, O. Lysenko. Application-Specific Network-on-Chip with Link Aggregation; - O. Romanov, O. Lysenkо. R&D of control and monitoring systems for different applied tasks: - processing of signals from sensors of different physical quantities, formation of control actions on actuators according to given control law; - preprocessing of analog signals, agreement with signal sources, filtration, measurement and transmission of datathrough standard interfaces. 2. R&D of control systems for low-powered follow-up (by speed and/or position) motors: - for commutatorless three-phase motors; - DC motors; - stepping motors. 3. R&D of systems for realization of different DSP algorithms: - based on DSP of Texas Instruments; - based on FPGA of Altera or Xilinx. www.digitallab.kiev.ua

R&D of distributed signal processing systems from sensors based on wireless ZigBee technology. 6. R&D of video signal processing systems: - for image identification; - for solving problems of automatic tracking of objects. The modern electronic components are used: - DSPs from С2000, С5000 and С6000 families and ARM Cortex A8 & DSP C64x+ of Texas Instruments; - low-powered microcontrollers MSP430 of Texas Instruments and AVR microcontrollers of Atmel; - FPGA of Altera and Xilinx; - radiotransceivers of CC24/25 хх family of Сhipcon-Texas Instruments. www.digitallab.kiev.ua
