  2. Botulism • Sources: inadequately processed, home-canned foods, but occasionally commercially produced foods • Symptoms: double vision, blurred vision, drooping eyelids, slurred speech, difficulty swallowing, dry mouth, and muscle weakness

  3. E-Coli • Sources: undercooked ground beef, fresh produce, such as lettuce and spinach, unpasteurized apple and orange juices, raw milk, alfalfa sprouts, and water.  • Symptom: abdominal pain and severe cramps, bloody diarrhea

  4. Hepatitis • Sources: spreads from person-to-person (a worker uses the bathroom, doesn’t wash hands, prepares food and spreads the virus) • Symptoms: flu-like symptoms, muscle aches, headache, loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort, fever

  5. Salmonella • Sources: raw or undercooked eggs/egg products, raw milk or raw milk products, meat and poultry. • Symptoms: nausea, abdominal cramping, bloody diarrhea, fever, headaches,

  6. Staphylococci • Sources: bodily fluids, cuts, scrapes • Symptoms: sore throat
