Actions to move forward • Feasible activities involving both Met services, Regional centres and academic communities in Africa but also synergies with: • THORPEX working groups • Relevant programs: e.g. SWFDP, AMMA, GEO, CLimDev, VigiRISC , Afclix, Africa Initiative • NWP centres • Set of activities in templates to provide to Met Services and to be used as basis of research activities THORPEX-Africa meeting Geneva May 8-11 2012
