  1. The outline of a proposal

  2. Preface ** Bridge to the Future has evolved from an essay regarding the cultural causes of the continuing crisis in American education. The essay focused on the sense of coherence. We developed the thesis that coherence is an easy phenomenon to manifest. In brief, the thesis goes like this: Underlying Thesis: Physical cause and logical cause share in the manifestation of coherence. As a matter of science, the human experience of nature creates coherent viewpoints. For example logic, mathematics and classical physics are each related by the consistency in underlying reality. These cultural heritages are stepping-stones to a multi-coherent view of the world. However, the phenomenon of cognitive coherence also has some downsides. One of these downsides is the primary cause of the crisis in mathematics education ** Prueitt, Paul S. Bridge to the Future (2009)

  7. Double articulation is found in human languages, where a phonemic repertoire controls muscle movements in the articulation of speech. Double articulation is also found in the relationship between physical atoms and physical chemistry. Computer programs that are double articulated from a fixed and finite set of atomic transaction objects will provide an ultra stable, provably secure virtualization supporting human communication. Stratification of organizational levels to design components will provide a process design environment supporting building architecture (building information modeling), services in public education and other public institutions, real time social networking, and emergency response. Double articulated based communications medium The Second School Community Center will be a franchised business similar to a Starbucks store. The SSCC creates a local grounding for an focused open source project directed by formal descriptions of articulated systems. The grounding is in time and location, as real time collaboration is expected to arise and be orchestrated by SSCC leadership. Funding for terminating ownership over a double articulated based communications medium is to be derived from a percentage of revenue form the SSCC cost centers. Community Centers

Lines of support and knowledge sharing is achieved via a unique service oriented architecture, based on double articulated computing. • Demand side learning: The specially designed and equipped class rooms provide a means to present Lifting Pedagogy as well as to open access to a service platform for de-centralization support using double articulated computing. • Telecommunications conference rooms provide local access into a network of collaborations under the label www.TwitterLite.com and using social networking technology. Double articulated based communications medium • The Community Centers are designed to provide foundational educational services related to a demand side theory as related to • Learning Theory • Economic Theory • Decentralization of consumption and production • Collaborative Cooperative Communication • Double articulated based communications medium Community Centers

  9. The Community Centers will create part of the foundation for a necessary decentralization of commodity and service use and production. • The Double Articulated Operating Environment provides ultra-stability and provably security demand side communication medium based on public domain computer articulated work supporting service standards in business and education (www.twitterLite.net) • Second School Community Centers will provide working environments where expert designers will gather and assist in the ANSI C coding of Framework based Specifications • Educational services will be provided via Second School classrooms and the Lifting Pedagogy Secure and uniform net-centric computing Transaction Realtime User Interaction Control

  13. The purpose of a coffee shop is to support community formation _______________ Learning Theory Prueitt conjectured in 1985 that slow training, by under-prepared and often math-phobic teachers, occurring over a long period during grades K-12 creates an acquired learning disability. This disability was also conjectured to be reinforced by negative cultural mechanisms including racism, elitism and specific predatory business practices. From 1985 to 2006 a demand side learning theory was developed based on the natural science research literatures in immune and cognitive theory. This learning theory was then used in three historical black colleges to demonstrate the veracity of the Lifting Pedagogy. Demand side learning theory was recognized, in 2006, to be similar in nature to certain innovations in communications theory. In 2008 a formal understanding was developed from which both the learning theory is expressed and a framework is presented. The framework and axiomatic principles were used to describe a new communication medium. An articulated communication medium deterministically links behavioral models to a set of Atomic Transaction Objects (ATOs). The articulation phenomena for digital systems is similar in specific ways to the phenomenon we model in basic research on human memory, awareness and anticipation.

  14. The purpose of a coffee shop is to support community formation _______________ Economic Theory Hidden control over the public communications medium, using advertising and addictive substances, has been part of a decline in some treasured qualities held dear by members of the American nation. One example is the private sector support of the tobacco industry. Television and Internet creates an un-healthy backdrop for institutional development. Within many institutions certain cultural mechanisms feed into unbalanced social behavior; racism and warfare being two of the most damaging. When combined with greed, these behaviors creates economic and environmental challenges. These are experienced at global levels, but also health and education challenges are experienced by the individual. The demand side theory defines the public service sector to be a community of institutions serving society in specific instances where for-profit institutions are predicted to have limited success. Limited success is attributed to the unique mission of for-profit institutions. Economic markets are then considered not be the proper environment from which the optimization of some social values are to be derived. The demand side theory based concept of an economic sector is properly defined as a community of corporations, having specific public granted charters, and participating in an economic system governed by both a visible hand of minimal and efficient regulation and a hidden hand related to real time market dynamics.

  17. The purpose of a coffee shop is to support community formation _______________ The purpose of a language is to support community formation _______________ Double articulated communications medium The SSCC has a social agenda requiring the development of public service sector that is ultra stable, secure, transparent and functional. A private-public partnership is proposed that creates a new model over demand and supply balance. The Second School Community Center will support the development of the Community Design Medium, and to thus advance the technology required to properly aggregate individual human intention into an economic force.

  20. Applications of an Articulated Community Design Medium A system of micro farms will be organized around local governance so as to reflect long held local cultural values. For example, current academic centers will be linked to small private farms whose owners wish to be involved in decentralization. • A SSCC organized micro-Farm co-op would be involved in: • 1) Anticipating production raw materials and acquiring these for the common good of the co-op • 2) Anticipating market needs and directing the marketing of produce • 3) Providing educational resources, via real time Internet and face to face meetings, for the Nutraceutical production unit (a micro-Farm) • 4) The anticipatory aspects of high productivity within a micro-Farm ecosystem requires almost perfect knowledge of the control elements involved in the acquisition of raw materials, production of biomass, and the distribution of product to end consumers.
