Marshall Public Schools District 413 develops the potential of each learner for success in a changing world. Marshall Public Schools wants to ensure that students are prepared to navigate the changing world with the digital learning tools they need to be self-directed learners. 1:1 devices will allow students access to anytime, anywhere learning and promote individualized learning by allowing students the capability to research and think critically in an information rich world. Why we believe in 1:1
Development of the Infrastructure • We’ve connect our schools through fiber • We’ve added wireless access points throughout all the buildings (150) • Addition of the Technology Integrationist • We’ve implemented student email accounts grades 3-12 • K-4 teachers issued iPads in Fall 2013 • Piloting a Mobile Device Management System • Creation of the Marshall Tech4Teachers (professional development) What do we already have in place to make this successful?

The 3 Year Plan– Evenly Distributed • Roll out grades 1 and 5 at the beginning of the year and 9 and 10 at the beginning of semester 2 • This give the technology department the time to refine the process and work the bugs out • This plan gives HS staff more time to get familiar with Windows 8.1 Our Recommendation:
