  2. HOW TO DEVELOP KB CLASSROOM--How to develop a positive inquiry culture STEP1:stimulate students’ thinking •Play videos in class Videos with storytelling style can inspire learning motives of students •Provide some readings for students Teachers select the readings which have pros and cons, because they love to debate with others.

  3. STEP2:establish the culture and atmosphere •Good teacher-student relationship is the key to the set-up of KB classroom If the relationship between teachers and students are good, students tend to have more confidence to speak up. Encouragement is better than punishment Encourage students to ask questions and appreciate their effort. This way, their confidence to speak up in public can be built up •From self-learning to group discussion They should write down their ideas first and share them to the others later. Teachers should make sure every student contribute in group discussions. Even if they cannot share anything in the discussion, teachers can notice their learning progress from what they have written down

  4. Thinking makes them learn After the lesson, they should write down what they have learnt and what they still do not understand. This way, they can think deeply and engage in asking questions.

  5. Challenges Learning differences Some students really like to express their ideas, some don’t . Some of them understand the topic and they can join the discussion but some cannot so they never speak. •How to make them think deeply Their prior knowledge is not enough. Yet, they do not want to find information. •How to explore knowledge from debate They only enjoys debating. But they never make enquiries. How we can make them inquiry is the most important

  6. MY QUESTION During the same class, last year’s students had greater learning ability but why they did not questions as good as this year’s ?
