  2. Biography • Born in Washington D.C. in 1965 • Graduated from the Reed College • Received a BFA(Bachelor of Fine Arts) at Rhode Island School of Design • Mooved into New York City in 1987

  3. Sally Gall is best known for her sensual interpretations of nature in which she combines impressive printing skills with her romantic vision. Her work describes and interprets the visible world with an experiential rather than literal interpretation.

  4. Work • More than 25 years of landscape photographing on both digital and film cameras. • Emphasizes different aspects of nature • Most of her work is created while traveling all over the world: Brazil, Scotland, Bali, New Hampshire, Bequi, Russia and France. • Sometimes she incorporates the human figure in her work, photographing body as an extension of nature rather than a portrait.

  5. Work In 2005, Sally Gall began to work in color, switching from her lifelong involvement with black and white. In her series “Blossoms” she worked closer to home in New York City on a refined investigation of nature, capturing the vivid colours of blossoming Central Park.
