Spring Quarter 2010 in CSE 3by Michael Pham OVERVIEW In this class we learned and experiences a great deal of Information technology (IT). We got a first hand experience with programs such as Scratch,Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop…etc. The class taught us basics of computers that will surly benefit us into the future Scratch is a program that allowed us to deign our own program, we can make games or have the program write what we want In class we used Scratch to create games, we would input into the software what we wanted to happen, and the commands of the game. SCRATCH PHOTOSHOP Photoshop is a very popular program, with this program we are able to alter and edit pictures as we want, we are given control to manipulate a picture as we desire. In class we were assigned to alter some minor blemishes on a picture of Madonna, Computational thinking-providing more information moving away from the obvious and going in depth EXCEL Excel is a program that allows us to do many things from making tic-tac-toe to doing calculations with graphs and charts POWERPOINT Powerpoint is a powerful program that allows to make slide show presentation, in class we made a presentation of the changes in water temperatures in La Jolla
