  2. Player Development Focus • As in years past, we will continue to focus on four key areas: • Skating– Continue to be known as an Organization that develops good skaters. Focus on “Speed”, quick feet mobility & agility. • Passing – Emphasis the importance of passing • Body Contact – angling and playing for puck • Cross Ice & Small Ice Games – develop the skills of reading & reacting to the play through situational play i.e. 1 on 1, 2 on 1, 3 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. • Keeping it Fun

Player Development Focus • Ice Utilization • Off-Ice Activities (Develop Athletes) - Morning Run Video • Use of New Team Room - Productive Coaching Meetings - Team Meetings - Video Analysis (Game & Practice) • Implementation of ADM • Continue focus on skill development • Knowing same basic systems (ie. man on man down low)

ADM Update • Matt Herr – USAH Regional ADM Director • Joe Tramarchi – NY District Coordinator • Review ADM Presentations on NYSAHA Website USA Hockey has adopted the American Development Model Red, White and Blue program  in conjunction with the Long Term Athlete Development Plan (LTAP) and is implementing it throughout the Nation.  The American Development Model (ADM) provides ALL AGE LEVEL appropriate guidelines and curriculum. Focus now will be Squirts & Pee Wees.
