Meadowlane's P PUPIL VOICE October 15th 2010 Present: JD, CR, RJ, JW, KH, Cry C, CC, TM, BT, BB, NPS, LT M V • Agenda • Comics / magazines to read • Playground Games • Well – being • Allotment • AOB M P V • Minutes • Ask for comics and magazines around the classes. Make a banner and a competition for the most brought in by a class. Prize can be a school trip with Mr Thomas • Skipping ropes, basketball hoop, golf equipment, kites, sort out playground cupboard. • Safety Box – present in assembly, anti-bullying poster, healthy living day - £1 for non school uniform. • Make a flag with MPV on it • Sponsored event to raise money for our grounds.

Meadowlane's P November 5th 2010 Present: JD, CR, RJ, JW, KH, Cry C, CC, TM, BT, BB, NPS, LT PUPIL VOICE M V • Agenda • Progress from last agenda • Firework Code • Jobs around school • Road safety letter to council M P V • Minutes • Comics and mags coming in and progress chart started – Class 8 are winning! All playground equipment has arrived and is used playtime and lunch time and is stored in the playground cupboard. Safety box is used and we presented it in assembly. Not many people seem to be worried! • Mr Thomas read out the firework code in assembly – we made sure the classes new what it was and it was printed on the back of the weekly newsletter. • Made sure that people were doing their jobs and everyone spoke about what their jobs were regarding the school council. • Starting thinking about a letter to the council because cars go to fast in front of our school. Loud and Proud!

M P V • Minutes • We all did a safety walk around the school and suggested ways where we could improve safety. These were all written on paper for Mr Thomas to take to the Buildings committee with the Governors.

Meadowlane's P PUPIL VOICE 21st January 2011 Present: JD, CR, RJ, JW, KH, Cry C, CC, TM, BT, BB, NPS, LT M V • Agenda • Hygiene around the school • Maintaining allotments – getting them ready for the spring • Checking playground equipment M P V • Minutes • Went to Tesco and bought lots of squirty soap and we ordered boxes of paper towles from the County. We put the soap into the toilets and made sure the toilet rolls were ok. We then reminded all of the children of hygiene and how important it is to wash your hands after going to the toilet. • We walked to the allotments and thought they looked ok for now but we will certainly work on them in March before the planting begins. • Playground equipment was checked and all seems fine and safe. We may need to order more skipping ropes soon.

Meadowlane's P PUPIL VOICE Date: 1/4/11 Present:JD, CR, RJ, JW, KH, Cry C, CC, TM, BT, BB, NPS, LT M V • Agenda • Healthy Week • Progress with Action Plan M P V • Minutes • Design of healthy week chart for every child to chart their progress • List all of the ideas we have • Phone UWIC to arrange a tour of the sports facilities • Meet Miss Sharon, the cook to organise a Healthy school dinner week • Timetable all of the events • Write a letter for the children to take home so everyone knows what is going on through the week. • AOB – day to dig in the allotments (6th April)
