Summary • Now, summarize the author’s argument in your own words and write and IVF statement • Public Universities should only accept students in their field of study as long as there are open spots. • The number of spots will be determined by the number of job openings in that field • The excerpt regarding the role of public universities by Phyllis Stein suggests that public universities should be extremely selective in their admittance process and only accept students whose field of study has current openings.
