What is SIIAEC ? • SIIAEC = Secrétariat International des Ingénieurs, Agronomes et cadres Economistes Catholiques = International Secretariat for Catholic Engineers, Agronomists and Industry Officials • a Specific Professional Secretariat from Pax Romana. • Associative Statutories declared since 1960 according to French law

What is ILO ? • The oldest International Organization among the United Nations Offices : • founded in 1919 • Dedicated to the Regulation of the World all over the world (181 States Members) • The Main Principle is « the Tripartite Dialog » = way to share the different points of view of : • Governments • Employers • Workers in order to elaborate together specific Regulation for Work adapted to every local context. • www.ilo.org

Actual ILO’s topics • Permanent works : • Regulation and Standards elaboration • Monitoring of the Rules application • Since 2000 : Agenda for Decent Work • 2011-2013 : Social Protection Basis + Youth Employment + Work with : IFM, WB, OECDE, G 20 • 2013 : Demographic evolution, Environment • After 2015 : Propositions for ??? the 2008 crisis + Millenarium Objectives + ILO’s 100ème Birthday in 2019… An other implication of the enterprises ?

  7. Why to participate ? • To share in one time : • ideas, • return of experiences, • deep analysis • Vision for the future directly with representatives of the entire world • To practice lobby

Present Work of SIIAEC with other Christian INGO collaborating with ILO • December 2012 - July 2013 : A working group, composed from some Christian INGOs members, produced a General Document • July 2013 : Finalized Text. • Translation in 4 languages (F, D, GB, SP). • Signed by the INGOs from the working group and by other INGO who agrees with the meaning of the text. • September - December 2013 : Sending / Presentation to the ILO + Presentation to the International Organizations + Communication, Diffusion, signatures collection…
