  3. What is SIS?

  4. SIS is the abbreviation of Scoreboard Information System which is based on LED equipment. HB-SIS is a professional timing and scoring system, specifically designedfor handball games, to display technical information on LED scoreboard during match.

  5. What is LED?

  6. LED is the abbreviation of Large Electronic Display organized by Light Emitting Diode which is recently wildly used in traffic sign, advertisement board and scoreboard in playing halls to display real time game information.

  7. HB-SIS Highlights: Flexibility: SIS is fit for all LED scoreboards of different size and resolution. Easy to operate:With a friendly interface, operation of the system is not difficult. Profession:It meets all technical requirements of handball games.

  8. Conditions of using SIS There must be a LED scoreboard in the playing hall and the screen of the operating computer (server) can be displayed on the board (most of the LEDs working in this mode).

  9. Operating mode - Online mode (1) Illustration below explained the hardware required by SIS. The Server – Operating Computer, will be located at the timetable; The Client – Scoreboard Driver, will be located in the control room somewhere inside the playing hall;

  10. Operating mode - Online mode (2) The scoreboard, will be hanged on both sides behind the goals. The three parts of the hardware system, Server, Client and Scoreboard should be connected by networks.

  13. Key functions of SIS

  14. Configuration This function is to setup the system according to the present situation like language, timing mode, size of the scoreboard, editing the look of the display on the scoreboard, saving the setup data, etc.

  15. Configuration Display Edit allows SIS to fit all LED scoreboards of different size and resolution

  16. Configuration - Display Edit All the items on the scoreboard could be moved around on the board to make a better looking display according to the size of the board. Some of them could even be moved away if the size of the board was too small to display all items.

  18. Configuration Adjust the frequency when the operating PC had something wrong with timing.

  19. Tournament With this function, tournaments can be setup and all initial data of the tournament like teams and technical officials could be inputted into the system. The data could also be imported from the system of PHMS if it’s applied in the same tournament. And that would save lot of time.

  21. Match In this window, match can be setup by inputting the necessary data of match details, date, venue, group, teams, etc.

  22. Start (Match) This is the main interface of the system which be kept during the whole match. All the match timing and scoring data would be inputted from this window.

  23. Start Click the color key next to the Team Window to select color for the teams.

  24. Start Goals are added and decreased in the Score Window.

  25. Start Down there are all players for the match. Click the concerned number of scorer after his getting a goal to make the accumulated goals for the player

  26. Start The first row below numbers is for goals and second row for 2 min. Click with left key to add and right key to decrease the concerned content.

  27. Start Input number of faulty player in the Punishment Window and click the concerned key of punishment: yellow card, 2 or 4 minute, and red card, etc.

  28. Start Input the official’s letter A, B, C, D for the faulty of team officials at the bench and displayed the letter and suspension time on LED scoreboard.

  29. Start (quick modification) SIS has a powerful function of quick modification during the match, for example: team B5 got a 2 min but add to A5 instead.

  31. Start (quick modification) Click to open the modification window. Functions: Change number for 2 min Change to opponent Delete

  32. Start (quick modification) Return the 2 min to B5 while match is going on.

  33. Start The key ‘T’ is for team time-out. Click it to stop time and click to resume. The space key is the hot key of time out for a quick and convenient time control.

  34. Start When a team time out is called. The main timer stopped and the sub-timer starts to count down. This is vital important at the end of a close match.

  35. Start There would be an auto signal at 50 seconds. The match could be resumed immediatelyifboth teams were ready for play before the end of time out.

  36. Start Red stop, green resume, highly contrasted display mode is very important for players under high pressure in a hectic match.

  37. Sub Timer (Full Screen Mode) There are two modes for sub timer. Full Screen Mode is used for count down before the match.

  38. Sub Timer (Full Screen Mode) With the count down, every body could well prepare his work before the match.

  39. Sub Timer (Normal Mode) Normal mode is for team time out and 15 minute break which is good for spectators.

  41. New features HB-SIS v5 has added some new features as: 1. Keep numbers of Yellow Cards. 2. To print Match Report.

  43. Keep numbers of Yellow Cards Number of all cards will be kept on the board for the convenience of referees to remember.

  47. Print Match Report Click “Print” to print Match Report.
