InformaCast Director • Trigger notifications from a central source, while sending unique messages from each InformaCast server • Send unicast messages from the Director, while leveraging multicast on the local network • Consolidate cities, schools, hospitals, governments into one notification stream • Federate multiple InformaCast servers across disparate networks
Use Case – Regional Notification Issue • County has 15 distinct instances of InformaCast: 8 schools, 3 cities, 3 hospitals and the county itself.
