  3. The APP Processing Resveratrol Promotes Clearance of Alzheimer’s Disease Amyloid- Peptides, Marambaud 2005 Modified from Laurén et al., Nature (2009) Senile Plaques Figure 1 The β amyloid peptide can act as a modular aggregation domain, Link 2008

  5. Oxidative Damage http://www.nia.nih.gov/NR/rdonlyres/A294D332-71A2-4866-BDD7-A0DF216DAAA4/0/Alzheimers_Disease_Unraveling_the_Mystery.pdf

  6. Purpose To preventatively and therapeutically treat Alzheimer’s Disease with resveratrol using CL2006 and CL4176 C. elegan models

  7. Hypothesis Alternate Hypothesis: Both preventive and therapeutic treatment of resveratrol on CL2006 will lead to a decrease in amyloid beta production and for CL4176 there will be a delay of the onset of paralysis. Null Hypothesis: There will be no change in amyloid beta production nor paralysis with the addition of resveratrol.
