Project objectives: • to identify, collect and analyse good practices combating social exclusion of people with mental health problems in the participating countries; • to assess the transferability of the practices to other European countries • to organise exchange visits to selected good practices in the partner countries and to meet with policy makers, civil society and other stakeholders

Partners in: Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia Outcomes: • online database of good practices www.mentalhealthsocialinclusion.org • directory of all the collected good practices • MHE’s conclusions and recommendations for policy and practice

SPECIFICS OF SLOVENIAN LABOUR MARKET AND LAW • 2006: New law on Employment Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled People • (quota system of employment of disabled)- ONLY 10% OF PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS WERE EMPLOYED COMPARED TO ALL EMPLOYED DISABLED PEOPLE.   5. MAIN GOAL OF THE PROJECT To offer an employment possibility to 10 persons with mental health problem ŠENT- Slovenian Associationfor Mental Health www.sent.si

USERS PARTICIPATION –INCLUSION • Users were among advisers for users and employers,(they were exchanging information and good practices) • A user was the web-base creator and administrator • Employed in the new employment centre and other firms ŠENT- Slovenian Associationfor Mental Health www.sent.si

  11. A project is successful only when participants from the target group (users) are involved equally in all project’s activities from the beginning to the end.  
