SIGCOMM 2010: India • 487 participants, including 236 students • India (146), Asia-Pacific (60), West Asia (5),  Europe (84), USA (168), Canada (5), Africa (1), South America (4) • 30 countries total • Lots of travel grants for local students (~180!) • Logistically smooth • minor visa problems • scheduling later than usual good for Europe, suboptimal for US attendees • Need strong local organizing committee • luxury hotels  “cost is no object” clientele  $10 coffee • smooth travel experience
