Climate Controlled Event Center • Forty wooded acres • Swimming Pool • (Lifeguard Required) • Petting Zoo • Rock Climbing Wall • Horseshoe Pits • Sand Volleyball Courts • Ping Pong • Two Softball Fields • Basketball Courts • Fishing • Pedal Boats • Sports Field for Football, Soccer, Closest to the Pin • NOTE: All sports equipment is provided by The Southern Cross with the exception of softball gloves and fishing gear and bait.

  3. Where else but the Lone Star State will one find everything from a tropical paradise to rolling pine covered hills to vast expanses of wide open “country”. At The Southern Cross, we’re serving up “Texas”. Come along with us for a tour of San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, the “Gulf Coast” (Corpus Christi, Padre, etc.), New Braunfels and Big Bend Country. Inside the Main Pavilion, tables will be covered in burgundy linen accented with burlap bags. In the center, an eclectic dried floral arrangement serves as a centerpiece. The State of Texas is the focal point of your Event Stage, which features a burlap skirted table for your DJ, as well as a number of western artifacts.

  4. After leaving Dallas, your guests can visit the historic missions around San Antonio for a “South of the Border” experience. When your guests reach The Gulf Coast, they will be greeted by towering palm trees against a tropical sunset. Can this be Texas?? On down the road apiece, a majestic waterfall surrounded by lush trees welcomes your “travelers” to rugged terrain of Big Bend Country.

  5. Finally, after passing a charming “Beergarten”, your guests may want to wet their whistles at our stunning antique Bar. The “Texas Experience” would not be complete without a visit to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Also known as “Cowtown”, the city is known for its Old West Charm.

  6. ENTERTAINMENT DISC JOCKEY - Our entertaining DJ will be on hand to play favorite tunes and make Event announcements as needed. He also acts as emcee of your games and contests. CLOWN (2 Hours) This colorfully costumed clown will keep them laughing while creating amazing balloon sculptures for the little ones.

  7. Just for Fun KIDS’ KORRAL - Our fenced “Kids’ Korral”, complete with playground “fort”, provides hours of supervised fun for the youngsters and is filled to the brim with fun activities... CREATION CORNER - This is the ingredient that distinguishes our events from all others. Samples of crafts will be displayed on 8 ft. covered tables for children to view and make: Masks, Puppets, Bead Jewelry, Windsocks, Pompom Animals such as Bears and Bunnies, and much, much more! Complete with trained staff! BUBBLE GARDEN - Children of all ages will enjoy blowing bubbles of all shapes and sizes.

  8. More Fun! FACE PAINTING (2 Hours) - Our talented artists will create a variety of colorful images on the faces of your guests, including Butterflies, Flowers, Animals, Rainbows, etc.. PETTING ZOO (2 Hours) - Both young and old alike will delight at our charming collection of barnyard animals--Snowflake the Rabbit, Daisy the Deer, Wilbur the Pig, and Scooter the Donkey, to name a few.
