Objectives • To identify, classify, and describe livestock genetic resources • To describe the production environments of AnGR • To describe the economic, social and cultural role of AnGR • To describe farmer’s preference for traits and breeds • To estimate the size of the livestock breeds/populations and distribution • To identify causes of threat and possible causes of threat and possible actions to migitate their impacts • To assess the suitability of the field survey methodology and questionnaire design as a tool for breed characterization
