  3. Emergency Aeromedical Service • 12 month pilot project National Ambulance Service and Irish Air Corps • Evaluate and quantify need for such a service in Ireland

  4. 10 hours per day 365 days per year • Custume Barracks Athlone • Military crew: 2 pilots 1 crewman (also EMT) • NAS crew: 1 Advanced Paramedic • Activation by NAS crew on scene • Predetermined clinical activation criteria
