  2. stellar • Everyone could not resist talking about how stellar the play was on Broadway. • Part of Speech ~ Adj. • Definition ~ pertaining to a preeminent performer;  outstanding or immense • Synonyms ~ astronomical, cosmic, heavenly

  3. lapse • The newly released man from jail temporarily went back to his only ways or had a lapse in judgment when his old friends asked him to go out for a night in town. • Part of Speech ~ Noun • Definition ~ an accidental or temporary decline from an expected condition or state. • Synonyms ~breach, error, fault, blunder, oversight

  4. striplings • Over the holiday, I was egger to meet and get to know my new striplings in my classes. • The striplings, puppies, were so extremely cute as they ran across the yard to play with one another. • Part of Speech ~ Noun • Definition ~ youth • Synonyms ~ adolescent, fledgling, minor

  5. receding • As we are docking the bout we can see that the tide is receding by observing the water lines on the wood. • A friend of mine has a receding hair line; his hair is reducing. • Part of Speech ~ verb • Definition ~ to go or move away; retreat; go to or toward a more distant point; withdraw. • Synonyms ~ decrease, diminish, fade, reduce, retreat
