Adamson chose MSU for its diversity of students and academic programs, as did other distinguished alumnus of Mississippi State University including author John Grisham, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and film producer Spike Lee. The impact of mortgage loan defaults and foreclosures has been stemmed by the consistently high home values of the Texas home market of Realtor Jeffrey Adamson in Houston.
