Vocabulary • Kublai Khan – grandson of Genghis Khan who conquered China, Korea, Tibet & Vietnam • Yuan Dynasty – the Chinese name for Kublai Khan’s dynasty in China • Marco Polo – an Italian merchant, who traveled to Kublai Khan’s Yuan Dynasty in China. His writings introduced Europeans to the beauty & riches of China
