  2. Welcome to East Riding Children's Centres in the Haltemprice area East Riding Children’s Centres Anlaby, Brough, Cottingham and Hessle are here to support families with young children in centres and community venues offering access to a full range of services. Parents can go for support from the time they first discover they are pregnant, right through until their child goes to school. As well as the regular activities in this booklet, we also run other informative sessions such as the ‘Family Links Nurturing Programme’, and family learning courses. Watch the notice boards for more information! All groups take place at the named Children’s Centre unless otherwise stated. In this booklet we use the term ‘families’ this refers to parents and carers. You are welcome to attend any sessions across the Haltemprice area, some sessions require booking, see information overleaf and call your local Children’s Centre to book a place. All contact details are on the back of this booklet. We look forward to welcoming you and we hope you enjoy the activities! If you feel you need a little extra help, we can also offer practical and emotional support for families on a one-to-one basis. Please call for more information. Toy Libraries Available at various venues – details inside. Toy libraries offer the opportunity to borrow high quality toys with minimal cost to enhance your child’s learning experience at home. There is a small charge for this service.
