Who We Are • Ladder is an independent non-profit organisation established in 2007 to tackle youth homelessness in Australia. • Founded by a group of AFL players to harness the support of the AFL industryits profile, networks and players. • We have a vision to operate in every region in Australia that hosts an AFL team by 2020. Proudly Supported by our Founding Partners

What We Do • Empower young people aged 16-25 to break the cycle of homelessness • Work with local community partners to integrate our innovative program with traditional accommodation and support services. • Operate within the Foyer context so that while young people have a roof over their head and Case Management , we can add value to help them achieve their aspirations in life.

Ladder has joined the journey to end ‘Disadvantaged Thinking’ • Marginalised • Disadvantaged • Chaotic • Homeless Whyare we focusing on what young people can’t do, what they haven’t got and what problems they have. Whyare we accentuating the negative and overlooking the potential and the positive? • Why focus on what is broken and ignore the strengths, talents and attributes that young people bring to the table?
