Get active today! Take the necessary steps to lose weight now! If you are overweight like I was and you want to lose 10 pounds fast then I'd like to share with you my secret to losing 10 pounds in 14 days without starvation or pills. In order to lose weight you must consume less calories than you burn. For a woman to lose weight, her average calorie intake should be between 1,000 - 1,500 calories a day depending on your activity level. For a man his average calorie intake should be 2,000- 2,500 calories a day. Your body's metabolism becomes active after eating. An active metabolism burns calories and fat. The faster your metabolism is, the faster you lose weight and body fat. To speed up your metabolism it is important that you eat several small meals several times a day and exercise. I recommend eating 5 - 6 small meals a day about every 2- 3 hours. When making food choices eat fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, fish and eggs. Fiber is very important. Eat at least 5 servings of raw vegetables, fruits and whole grains such as oatmeal, barley, whole wheat or buckwheat. Avoid red meat, chicken, pork, fried foods, bread, white flour, sugar, sodium and alcohol. Also, eat 3 - 4 oz servings of protein daily. Instead you should eat omega rich fish like salmon and tuna. Beans, soy, nuts, seeds and protein drinks are also an excellent source of protein. I suggest drinking at least 100 oz of water a day. It will keep you body hydrated and aid in digestion and weight loss.
