  1. AHAs! And OH NOs! PORTLAND CLINIC

  2. The Portland Clinic realized that what has truly allowed us to stay connected with our client’s and stay up to date on all blood work is by using the tool of incentives and relationship building. By initially using incentives to get our clients regularly frequenting the clinic we have been able to build strong and supportive relationships that have resulted in well-managed and well-connected HIV and primary care. “AHA” MOMENT

  3. Similar to the previous period, our team has faced “oh no” moments due to staffing difficulties and the challenges in relation to that. There have been some “oh nos” around reporting due to a heavy case load and short-staffing along the way. We are very excited to have a new .5 STOP HIV/AIDS nurse on our team! Her presence will help us to continue providing excellent care and support to our clients as well us help with the reporting. “OH NO” MOMENT

  4. In the coming months we plan to make sure client’s are up to date on their immunizations, PAPS and other STI testing in addition to their regular blood work. We are very excited to integrate our new nurse into the clinic and continue to foster strong relationships between health care provider and client. MOVING AHEAD
