  3. 早期先民編織藝術品 • 在四、五十年前的村莊聚落裡，務農人家居多，只要到了農閒時間，有的農人就把竹編當消遣，隨手將鄉下處處可得的竹子剖成一片片寬細不同的竹篾，編起了日常生活中需要的東西，例如斗笠、雞籠、抓魚的籠子，甚至小孩子的玩具等等。

  4. 編織藝術品 • 利用身邊的自然物，透過巧思與編折技巧，就可以製作出生活中實用的物品，是台灣鄉土藝術特色的手工藝品。
