Past achievements Strengths A strong, established and recognised brand Strong PCT and CC joint working Engagement of BME community which involved using community leaders as ambassadors “Counterfeit Kills” project involving Trading Standards, HMRC and NHS Exemplary innovative practice within all three PCT Stop Smoking Services Use of DVD to gain buy-in to the tobacco control agenda with joint funding, around the introduction of the Smoke Free Legislation, with excellent examples of best practice Work with taxi drivers leading to compliance, publicity and signposting to the Stop Smoking Services including pioneering Drop In sessions and work in supermarkets and pubs with joint funding, around the introduction of the Smoke Free Legislation, with excellent examples of best practice Work with taxi drivers leading to compliance, publicity and signposting to the Stop Smoking Services including pioneering Drop In sessions and work in supermarkets and pubs

Meet new National target locally 11% smoking prevalence by 2015? Smoke free homes and cars campaign? Use our local powers to re-classify films containing smoking?
