Help establish more support, better communication, more uniformity, and inclusiveness in the school. • Sammy in the Know Newsletters • Website • PTA Meetings- See website Tuesdays –alt am/pm • Room Parent Meeting(s) • Room Parents are the support framework of the school • Major Fall Initiative: Membership Drive and Retail Designations. We need your help.

  2. VP Report Please refer to the PTA website for updates and program information. The BTS Progress Report Page will track progress in membership, retail enrollment, project performance etc. Information updated weekly for the first few months of school PTA Officer contact information on the PTA homepage .

  6. Math SuperstarsVasiliaRavaris • Vasilia@live.net • Math Superstars is an elective, 25 week, math enrichment program for grades k-5. Based off of Florida Standards of learning. It is always fine to help the children with the worksheets, despite the fact that it may indicate otherwise. • Need parent graders for each classroom.

The 2013 – 2014 WordMaster ChallengeSusan Williamson and Heather Burton - Zalar • This is a three part, National Language Arts competition for students in Grades 3, 4, and 5. • It is elective and requires support from family at home in order for the students to be successful. • Enrollment forms already went home. Enrollment is about 70 students • An orientation meeting will held for all students that are NEW to the program on Thurs. Oct 3, 2013 at 2:45-3:45pm. Students will need to fill out the “Going Home” form in order to stay after school for the program.

WordMaster Dates • Tests are held at 8:15 am in the cafeteria • Program details, study materials, and other information is sent via email, so PLEASE fill out and return the enrollment form quickly so that we can set up our database. The first event is the Oct 4 orientation class. All students who participate in ALL THREE meets, will receive participation medals. • See the school website for more information and contact emails for Susan and Heather – if you have any questions or can help volunteer.

  9. Retail Programs • We are only scratching the surface of our potential with these programs.
