    2. Yachiyo Corporate Philosophy Yachiyo places a high value on our associates, with out the associates dedication, commitment and hard work our success would not be possible. It is with that in mind that Yachiyo’s Corporate Philosophy starts with Fundamental Beliefs, which is our base, followed by a Corporate Principle then a Code of Conduct. In summary, we believe that “ in order for Yachiyo to become a company that is recognized and valued by society, it is necessary to fully understand fundamental beliefs and satisfy the ever changing demands of society.Yachiyo places a high value on our associates, with out the associates dedication, commitment and hard work our success would not be possible.     3. Yachiyo Industry Co. Profile Here is an overview of Yachiyo. Headquartered in Kashiwabara, Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture. Yachiyo was Established in 1953. Yachiyo’s business covers 2 basic groups: 1. Complete automobile production and 2. The development of production related automotive parts. Yachiyo has 10 locations in Japan and 15 locations outside of Japan. Yachiyo also supports via Technical Support and has over 6000 associates globally. Yachiyo’s main products are: Fuel tanks, Sunroofs, Sheet-Metal parts, Plastic parts, Repair parts, Motorcycle parts, Minicar (Complete automobiles)Here is an overview of Yachiyo.     5. Yachiyo Products Here are some of the products that Yachiyo produces. They include, Fuel Tank Systems, Sunroof Systems, Sheet Metal Parts, Repair parts, Motorcycle parts and in Japan, Yachiyo produces a complete vehicle. Some of these products such as Plastic Fuel tanks and Sunroof Systems are produced right here in Ohio by Ohioans!Here are some of the products that Yachiyo produces. They include, Fuel Tank Systems, Sunroof Systems, Sheet Metal Parts, Repair parts, Motorcycle parts and in Japan, Yachiyo produces a complete vehicle.     6. Yachiyo & State of Ohio Now let us look at Yachiyo in the State of Ohio. Yachiyo of America has 3 facilities in Ohio. AY Manufacturing in Columbus, US Yachiyo in Marion and Yachiyo of America (North American Headquarters) in Columbus. Yachiyo employs over 400 associates, has had sales of 270million in 2008,197 million in 2009 and projected sales of 238 million in 2010. Yachiyo has invested over$122million in capital and Ohio has supported with over $1.1million worth of tax incentives- thank you State of Ohio. The main products and services in Ohio are manufacturing of Fuel Tank Systems, Sunroof systems, testing, research, development and North American Headquarters functions.Now let us look at Yachiyo in the State of Ohio. It is here that the sunroof is assembled, tested and then shipped to our customer for installation in the vehicle.     9. AY Manufacturing Sunroof Technology As the market changes, so do the requirements of the consumer. Here are 2 examples of Sunroof Technology: First the Front Motor Tilt Inner Slide Sunroof- features include Light weight, which supports better fuel economy and safety features such as Anti pinch. Ay Manufacturing is also taking the next step and meeting the customers needs for a more open feel sunroof with the Next Generation Twin Panel sunroof. Then the tanks is assembled on a highly technical designed line that ensures high quality standards are met while implementing a green manufacturing process which incorporates recycling efforts. Some key points for Yachiyo of America include its inception in 2001, Ground breaking for a new facility in 2007 and its’ first lead for the testing of the 2011 Odyssey Fuel Tank. Most recently Yachiyo of America has announced that it will host the 2010 Global NY Circles competition. This event will include associates from Japan, Canada, China and Thailand.
