Who is TransTel Incorporated in 1992, TransTel Communications designs, manufactures and distributes Digital Telephone Systems, Automated Attendant and Voice Processing Systems along with other related peripheral devices for the communications industry. Among our United States customers are well known companies and government agencies like the Federal Aviation Administration, Century 21, Remax, and Ace Hardware to name a few. Other applications known to us are in Law Firms, Doctor's Offices, Hair Salons, Hotel/Motels, and many private residences. Our systems are deployed in defense and military installations by various countries throughout the world.  Designed with robust architecture, convenience, flexibility and price in mind, TransTel has committed to providing market leading features for the 21st century. TransTel's new line of Digital Telephone and Voice Mail Systems brings features previously found only in much larger systems to the small business user. It delivers virtually all of the advanced features expected from a larger system; enabling even the smallest business to access advanced telecommunication tools thus giving a competitive business advantage The TransTel Lynx can be literally be installed out of the box and offer the Customer a flexible and fully featured solution, on top of this the Lynx can then be customized using the full Power of its Advanced Software Engine.   10. Interfaces PSTN (Public Switch Telephone Network) The TransTel Lynx has 3 traditional loop start telephone lines. This can be expanded to 6 with the addition of an expansion card (308 Card). Caller ID is standard. All Lines are DUET Capable. Digital Extensions The TransTel Lynx has 8 digital extensions. These are 2 wire interface ports designed to connect to the DK6, DK7-21, DK8 and DK9 digital phones. Can be expanded to an additional 8 DK Ports Single Line Telephone Extensions The TransTel Lynx has no SLT extensions as standard. There will be a 2 x Port Analogue card developed for release later this year, this will support most standard SLT phones, cordless phones, fax, modems and Point Of Sale machines. All SLT extensions are Message Waiting capable (90 Volt) and Call Line ID compliant (FSK)

  11. Interfaces RS232 Port The TransTel Lynx has an RS232 port on the main board as standard. This can be used for call accounting and software upgrades to the system. External Music on Hold Port A 3.5mm Din plug is available for providing the system with an external music source. Standard on the system. Relay, Sensor and Paging Port The TransTel Lynx comes complete with relay, sensor and paging port for connection to External Paging Systems. Standard on the system. Battery Backup Input The TransTel Lynx has an external battery port, this allows the connection and charging of an external battery pack for power fail situations. Interface is standard. Batteries are optional.

  19. As Easy As Plug and Play The Transtel LYNX system has be setup with a program default to enable you to plug it in, turn it on and then use the system with little or no programming changes. This Transtel LYNX has been programmed for the most common needs, the customer can set features as per the User Guides and program the system commands described in this Manual.

  20. . The LYNX system is set up for plug and play right out of the box. Outside lines are assigned and set up on the phones as well as intercom numbers and commonly used features. Below are some of the pre programmed features. Numbering Scheme Dial 9 for outside line Dial 0 for Operator Position Extensions: 11 – 18 with standard System, with expansion card 19 – 26 will be added Virtual Extensions 41 and 42 can be used as Voice Mail Answer points I.e Day / Night Mode Dial 89 to Record Main System Greetings (From Console, Ext 11) Dial 86 for Extension Voice Mail Ringing Assignments Extension 11 will ring on all incoming calls in Day Mode Extension 11, 12, 13, 14 will ring on all incoming calls in Night Mode Easy Out Of Box Plug and Play

  23. The Lynx has a fully featured Office Based software engine, feature lists include: Auto Attendant (Standard)Standard 4 ports to answer incoming 4 calls simultaneously. Options 1-5 and dial directly to extensions on Day Mode / Night Mode and Lunch Mode Ringing AssignmentsThe Lynx has 3 Modes of Operation for ringing assignments, Day Mode, Lunch Mode and Night Mode. AA can answer immediate or after delay in all modes. Delay Operator Operator delay announcement is available using the voice card for incoming calls to the operator queue. Two messages are available, the first of which is used to say that the operator is busy. A second optional message can be used if the operator is still unavailable and the customer wants to indicate this to the outside caller Announcement Message All Auto Attendant, Delay Operator and Wakeup calls have 60 seconds record time standard.   24. Software Specifications • Named Trunk Lines • Each CO line on the Lynx can be named with up to 8 characters, you can also program different ringing tones per line. This facility is ideal for a customer who wishes to be able to identify different lines. • Named Extensions • Each extension can be named with up to 11 characters, which is ideal for knowing who is calling you. • Name Speed Dial • Each speed dial number can be named with up to 11 digits to make administration easier. Speed dials can be integrated with Caller ID to display customer name. • Search By Name / Dial By Name • A key can be set-up on the system phone to search for names on either the extensions or speed dials. This name, once found, can be dialed by simply pressing the speaker key. • Name DDI Number • Each DDI number can be named for incoming calls so user can see what number / company was dialed.

Software Specifications • Intrusion • The Lynx has eight levels of intrusion so that different people can interrupt other phones conversations, i.e. A secretary can intrude on her boss phone call to inform him of an urgent call. • Monitor • The Lynx has eight levels of monitor; monitor operates like a silent intrusion except neither party on the call will hear or be aware of the third party using the Monitor facility. • . • Whisper Mode • The Lynx has Whisper Mode feature, an internal extension can call another extension (Digital Phone) that is talking to an external party, the internal extension dials post digit 1, a warning tone is sounded to both the called parties, the internal extension can then talk to the internal party, the external party will not hear the person in Whisper Mode.
