  1. La Paloma High School We play a “###’s” game, Not a “letters” game

  2. Here is how it works at La Paloma • Each student should earn at least 3 credits in each class. • 5 classes = 15 Credits/quarter. Here is the magic part… The magic ### of credits you can settle for is 12 credits/quarter.

  3. Magic ### is 12…What? • High school should take 4 years • La Paloma requires 190 credits • 12 credits x 4 quarter = 48 credits/year • 48 credits x 4 years = 192 Credits = diploma • So if I exceed 12 credits per quarter I will reach my goal early • If I earn less then 12 credits I am actually falling more behind.

  4. So now you see… A’s B’s and an occasional C may look good to me, But the ### of credits I earn are the true reality Don’t let them fall short, Count the credits in their report!
