Supply-Chain Council Awards for Excellence spotlight World-class organizations that have: Recognized the critical role that supply chain performance plays in reaching organizational goals Committed to optimizing their supply chain performance Demonstratedthis commitment through the implementation of supply chain improvement projects

  4. The Purpose of the Awards is to: Encourage Continuous Improvement Formalize cross-industry collaboration Share lessons learned, best practices, and the technology that is proven to deliver positive business results

  5. Five Awards are presented annually is selected from: 2. Supply Chain Operational Excellence – Industry 3. Supply Chain Operational Excellence – US DOD 4. Supply Chain Management Technology Excellence 5. Supply Chain Academic Excellence Global Award for Supply Chain Excellence

  6. The Awards are open to all organizations Each organization may submit up to two entries per location each calendar year Winners are chosen by a selection committee appointed by the Supply-Chain Council

  7. Nominations are evaluated by a selection committee appointed by the SCC considering Demonstration of leveraging SCOR The nature and the complexity of the project The ability to objectively demonstrate the value of the project The ability to characterize the project and effectively communicate its significance
