  25. Statement of Endorsement List of the main results expected from Montoir: 5. Certification of complete system Workshops: • FMEA • HAZID • HAZOP • Issuance of Technology Qualification Plan and Statement of Endorsement

  26. Technology Qualification Report Technology Qualification Plan Technology Assessment Report Statement of Fitness for Service Statement of Endorsement Statement of Feasibility List of the main results expected from Montoir: 5. Certification of complete system Qualification Work Process Define Qualification Basis I Technology Assessment Failure Mode Identification and Risk Ranking Concept Improvement Selection of Qualification Methods PoS Evaluation Q3 2004 II Analysis and Testing Reliability Analysis Q4 2006 DNV Statements: Phase 1 and 2

  27. List of the main results expected from Montoir: 5. Certification of complete system ThisSYSTEM OPERABILITYqualification conforms to new European standards presently being written. • EN 1474 is being updated to include 2 new sections: • Design and testing of Cryogenic hoses • Offshore Transfer Systems…………. in which the Certifying Authorities have included that – “Where novel transfer solutions (new technology or novel application of known technology) are intended to be used, this technology is to undergo a recognized qualification procedure”

  28. CONCLUSIONS: 1of 2 Complete full scale trials including instrumentation & control systems 80% of the results are from the studies and documentation 20% of the results will come from the on-site testing Open book co-operation with Certifying Authorities (B.V. and D.N.V.) and JIP members Oil & Gas + Operators participation and familiarisation through Joint Industry Programmes

  29. CONCLUSIONS: 1of 2 Amplitude-LNG Loading System is both technically & commercially mature and will be complete with certification by Q4 this year Easy and repeatable Side-by-side (ship to ship) operations Opens up new Marine facilities architectures for both ends of the LNG chain Marine facilities can now include cryogenic flexibles and Pipe-in-Pipe systems
