Risk Assessment -Working at heights • Is the equipment correct for the job being undertaken? • Assess the maintenance system for the equipment • Consult regulatory standards and guidance • Assess the environmental conditions where the equipment is to be used • Ensure competency of the equipment erectors / inspectors • Assess the training of operatives • Assess the provision of barriers / signs in working area • Assess necessity for equipment inspections • Assess the safe working loads of equipment against the task being completed • Assessment / auditing of control measures
