  3. What are interactive whiteboards • A interactive white board is a interactive display that connects a computer to a projector. You can use pens, fingers and other devices to write up a display. • (Interactive Whiteboard (n.d)

There are three main uses for interactive whiteboards and they include; • 1) Operating software like another computer • 2) Using the software to capture notes manually written on the whiteboard or computer typed. • 3) Controlling the PC and seeing it a large version on the whiteboard for all the class to see

Benefits of using interactive whiteboards in a classroom environment. • APPLICATIONS TO LEARNING AND TEACHING • A.Learning Styles and ages • Accommodates many learning styles, it can be adapted to many age groups, it can accommodate students with limited motor skills, and it's interactive (Bell 2002). • B.Teachers reported that the board was easy to use, kept the class together and focused, and made lessons clear and dynamic (Smith 2000). • C.Flexibility. Either you can control theIWB with your finger. Or you are able to use the computer that it is connected to. • D.It works very well with other peripherals and across subject mater (Bell 2002).

  7. Implications for using interactive whiteboards. • IMPLICATIONS TO LEARNING AT TEACHING • A.Set up time can take away from the time the students are able to learn • B.Commonly experience difficulties • There were problems with frequent recalibration of the system (Smith 2000)
