  2. Thirty years ago, the firstDelaware County Fair opened at Rose Tree Park.

  3. The Delaware County Fairis an original project of The Glen Riddle Rotary Club.

  4. Although the Delaware County Fair has had to relocatea few times throughout theyears, the mission of the fair has never changed…

  5. …to raise money for the many charities locally and internationally that Rotary supports and…Special Memoriesfor Special People.

  6. This year will mark the 30thannual Delaware County Fair!

  7. Follow us down memory laneand imagine the countless hours and monies donated forprojects in your home town.

  8. Rotarians and spouses have cooked burgers and worked at this fair for thirty years!

  9. Some Rotarians haven’t missed a Rotary meeting in 39 years.

  10. Attending District Conferences and events have been a part of the Glen Riddle Rotary Clubfor 44 years.

  11. Rotary used to be all men.

  12. Or at least they thought so… The wives were always there for organizational support and man power.

  13. We had a lot of great press in the early years.

  14. We sold pretzels.

  15. We always had volunteers.

  16. For four days…work, family, and responsibilitieswere put on hold.

  17. So that other families could have fun and money could be raised in the name of Rotary.

  18. Fellowship… Posters…

  19. And more posters.

  20. We’ve sponsoredbaseball teams.

  21. Rotarians dressedand planned for success.

  22. Holiday auctions helpedraise more funds.

  23. There were countless fair board meetings…

  24. …and then it was time forthe fair once again.

  25. Every member participated.

  26. We eat at the fair. We work at the fair.

  27. It has always been aboutSpecial People.

  28. Special Memories

  29. Special Friends

  30. Special Families

  31. Special Events

  32. Special Volunteers

  33. Some members haveleft our club…

  34. …but will remain in our hearts…

  35. …and our memories forever.

  36. Members are recognized by their fellow Rotarians.

  37. Charities are beneficiaries.

  38. Rotarians work hard.
